My 3 year old doesn’t eat.
No, that’s not true. He eats a lot of fruit, and dairy, and bagels (or other forms of carbs)
He loves pizza. And peanut butter.
So, in the effort to try and sneak some good stuff into him, I made some sneaky cookies.
He devours cookies, so when the Love Your Lentils contest came across my laptop, I thought . . . why not?
They cookies turned out really well, not ugly at all. But the process of making them was not as appetizing. The cookie mixture looked an awful lot like pureed caterpillars before I baked it into tasty treats.
In fact, it was so ugly, I will not share pics with you. It would scare you away from even trying them.
And my sneak worked. The kids came home and gobbled them up. I ended up calling it dinner.
You can check the recipe out here, and while you are at it, please vote for my recipe in the Love your Lentils contest. Just by voting you are also entered to win!
And here is the clincher. If I DO win, I get an extra ticket for someone to come with me. So, I am going to put that up for grabs. Let me know below via a comment, that you voted for my recipe and your name will be entered to come with me to hang with Chef Michael Smith and stay at a swanky hotel. If you don’t want to come, that’s cool, but still vote because maybe we can reward you some other way! Also, if you share my post, I will love you more.
So, vote for my cookies. And then try and make them (or check out some of the other tasty Lentil recipes)
Bon Appetite!
