I was thrilled to be on the list to review a Kobo eReader Mini, but when I started to really think about it, I figured who better to give you their perspective than the person who was going to use it?
Kobo is all about having kids use their eReaders, so why are we having parents do the reviews? Here is Amy’s perspective on the mini, ease of use and it’s functions.
And as a note, Amy (age 9.5) did the set up of the eReader herself, and sources and downloads books on her own. Also, we haven’t been able to get her off of it this summer… so it must be good!
The Kobo eReader Mini is running for about $79.99 and is a great gift for kids. As a parent, the books are affordable (more affordable than the hard copies) and there is a great selection available for download.
Take a peak at Amy’s review, and see what you think… from a kids point of view! Enjoy the read (and I hope you giggle like I did at her review!) And make sure you leave her a comment if you thought it was valuable (or if you are going to pick one up for your kids!)
When I got the opportunity to have a Kobo eReader Mini, there was obviously no question for me. And for me I don’t often get a lot of free stuff. Especially like this! If you think you know me super well, you should know all these things about me. Like I am really good at spelling, I’m strong, I’m tall, I love soccer and art, my favourite colour is blue. All that kind of stuff, but if you don’t know that I love to read (Gasp!) then you don’t know anything about me at all. Case closed. In this very post I am going to tell you how to work your future Kobo eReader that you very simply MUST GET! READ MORE…..
