We only get one movie at a time here on our little island, so if it is a movie you want to see, you better get your tail to our little one room movie theatre and see it.
So, when we drove by the announcement board and the kids saw FROZEN on the sign, the squeals and instant begging had us pretty much committed.
We had used bribery all day to get as much good behaviour as we could out of the kids, but when it came time to leave, the little dude was crashing.
Hard.
There is nothing worse that sitting with a grumpy preschooler in a movie, with no way to moderate their behaviour. With the girls giving me kitty cat eyes there was no way to nix our plans, so we did the next best thing.
Dad and the dude stayed home and did a “boys night”. Buttery popcorn, snuggles on the couch and bit of advanced lego building and THE HULK.
Thank goodness Disney had a new movie out that hit all the required “little boy” spots on our dude. Oh, and on the hubby. The girls and I came home from being swept away with Frozen to our two dudes deeply engrossed in Iron Man & HULK, Heroes united. The action sucked them in, and as I girls and I snuck off to bed with “Do you want to build a snowman” running through our heads, the boys were able to finish their guys night in style!
If you have a little dude, (or a big one) he is sure to like this great animation flick! In stores everywhere!
