Thanks to Julia B for the awesome guest post and review of the Cozy Sun & Bug infant cover!
“Finally, after what seems like forever, the rain is moving away and the beautiful spring sunshine is here. But when you have children, the spring sunshine brings with it the endless sports camps, leagues and constant shuttling about to various parks and places.
For our busy family of 3 boys we find ourselves constantly on the move. Quite often for our youngest son who is 4 months old – well – he just has to fit in. He has become a regular spectator and somewhat of a mascot at his older brothers Soccer, Ice Hockey, scootering and Lacrosse matches. Unfortunately these matches always clash with his nap times so he spends many a sleep on the move in his car seat.
I was really pleased to find the Cozy Sun & Bug infant carrier cover for his car seat that was lightweight, a sun shield and had a bug guard. The cover has 2 layers so when he was awake the top layer folded back allowing him to happily watch behind the bug guard. I found it worked well against the harsh wind and kept him shaded and snug. As the weather can be so unpredictable on a soccer field I usually have an extra blanket on my son. Luckily this still fit underneath the cover and when it wasn’t in use then the cover folded neatly into a little pouch and I could pop it into the diaper bag.
An added bonus has to be the funky colour. Having 3 boys usually means a plethora of browns and greens. I loved the bright funky turquoise stripes and spots and we even received a few complements from on looking moms. That’s always a plus for a busy mum like me.”
