One thing our family most definitely values is an individuals ability to be weird.
Weird is interesting. It is eclectic, unique and never dull.
I grew up sitting just south of the cool line, dabbling my toes into the deep pool of weird, sometimes submerging for a dip, until as an adult I was ready to dive all the way in. I owned my weirdness, fully claiming it, especially once I started doing “dog agility” with my cross breed spaniel.
When I met my hubby and brought him to our first dog event, a flyable tournament, I proudly displayed my weird flag, blasting Cat Stevens on the stereo and getting giddy as I won my ribbon and dragged my bag of dog food back to the car.
And since this fine display of weird didn’t chase him away, I kept him.
Little did I know he carried the weird gene as well.
And then the kids came along, all three with DOUBLE weird genes, oozing their spectacular weirdness, and having it grow as they did.
We are weird, and that is wonderful.
We sometimes laugh until we pee. . . all of us. We dance, whenever and wherever.
We love chickens. . . a lot.
We are quirky, weird, strange and delightful. We sometimes wear pants that are too long to be capris, but too short to be pants . . . it keeps us weird.
3 out of the 5 of us snort when we laugh (and no, I’m not telling you which 3)
We really should have our own sitcom.
But since we don’t, you will need to just enjoy THESE weird families on Netflix instead. . .
and then subscribe to my YouTube channel, since it is really the only place to full immerse yourself in my weirdness.
Of course, you can find all of this crazy weirdness on Netflix.Ca, not to mention a whole bundle more. All the crazy weirdness of House, The Vampire Diaries, and well… pretty much anything to float your weird little boat!
