My 9 year old daughter was especially committed to her list this year and had her first item note back in August! Now, with the holidays around the corner, and the excitement growing, we are sharing some of our favourites gifts for little girls so you can grab them too!

Tekno Puppy: If your little girl is anything like mine, than a puppy or kitten ANYTHING is going to be a hit.  This year Tekno has released their newborn puppy and kitten, an interactive newborn robot pet that offers emotions and engagement to your kids!  Probably requires LESS cleaning than the average puppy or kitten as well!

MAPLELEA DOLL (Charlsea):  If you are ever in a position to find a toy that represents where you live, I think it is pretty much a no brainer to grab it. So, when Maplelea welcomed their newest doll, Charlsea this summer and announced that she was from Salt Spring Island, my daughter had her #1 item for her list.  She has even gone so far as to have this as the ONLY item she is asking Santa for… so, sounds like this is a must have according to her!  Maplelea has an assortment of dolls from across Canada, including accessories and “journals” that share about their lives.
Educational Insights Vega 360 Telescope  I want a little girl who will dream big, and expand her mind. Being able to have the tools at hand to explore the skies will, I hope, help he see that the world is vast and she can achieve anything!  Hopefully this gift will also increase the number of “star watching” nights we have next summer (you know those ones, where they tell you all their secrets and you have those spectacular bonding moments!)

Little Live Pets Lil’ Mouse Trail Playset  Every year when I see my daughters list it is live animal, after live animal, so needless to say, if we can find a mechanical replacement, we do.  We love the little Live pets, and are hoping that this Lil Mouse Trail Playset will get her mind out of the hamster gutter!

Nerf Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow Soaker  After having a summer of drought and only 1 water gun, we decided it was time to add a few more to the stock.  The Nerf water guns are high quality, and affordable and allow the kids to have a few fills on a hot summer day without leaving the hose running and running out our rain tanks or well!  Best way to get everyone excited for summer as well!
