My middle child is a doer. This is the kid that chooses helping outside over watching the television. She is happiest when she is moving, or helping, or involved in ANYTHING, especially if it is outside.
Now, whether or not it is related, or just a coincidence, her poor hands don’t take kindly to the wear and tear she puts them through. We don’t know if it is a sensitivity, allergy or just “her”, but frequently her hands are red, swollen and itchy.
This makes her nervous of applying any products to her hands, and sensitive to washing them… which can be a HUGE problem when she is manhandling chickens all the time.
We had tried various different creams, but the sensitivity still reared up when she used a harsher soap, or there was a change in the weather. Now, she told me that it “looks worse than it is” and while itchy, her hands were more “Hot” than sore… but seeing your child with ANY discomfort is awful.
We had the chance to test out the Intega Nutratopic cream on her hands, and used the product consistently for 2 weeks. While she wasn’t experiencing an outbreak of her symptoms at the time (due to diligent avoidance of the irritations) our goal was to remove the likelihood of these outbreaks occurring in the future.
The Intega Nutratopic cream is used to break the cycle of irritation and outbreaks on children’s skin. Whether it is a rash on their lips from over licking, skin irritations from soaps, or rashes and inflammation on their hands, like my daughter, the purpose of the product is to provide deep hydration.
The product, which comes as an emollient cream (Kids), infant facial cream, and emollient lotion or protective bath gel, restores the skins barrier function, reinforcing the lipid mantle though the use of ceramides, omega-6, and L-isoleucine.
Which basically means, it hydrates the skin, and stops the itching and discomfort in a way like no other product out there.
My little girl has been back in the garden with us these past weeks. Due to our dry weather, which is often a signal for an outbreak for her, her hands have stayed in comfortable condition.
Of course, the added benefits for our girl, especially because of where we live is that the Intega Nutratopic cream also helps inhibits the risk of bacterial adhesion, which is an added bonus in my books, and helps her feel more confident about her hands and what they are getting into each day.
