We have kids in our house ranging in age from 16 to 5. Three girls, and one little boy tagging along at their heels. This means that when the kids want to hunker down and watch a movie, battles ensue.
Two want romance and rom-coms, one wants puppies and the other is fully into anything adventure and sci-fi (hello transformers) Finding something they will ALL sit down and enjoy is a challenge.
when the new Disney Movie arrived in the mail tho, they were ALL keen on giving it a try.
“Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast” is the new Pixie Hollow adventure.
The new story explores an ancient myth of a fabled creature whose distant roar sparks the curiosity of Tinker Bell’s good friend Fawn (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin), an animal fairy who’s not afraid to break the rules to help an animal in need. But this animal—massive and strange with glowing green eyes—is not really welcome in Pixie Hollow, and the scout fairies are determined to capture the mysterious beast before it destroys their home. Fawn, who sees a tender heart beneath his gruff exterior, must convince Tink (voice of Mae Whitman) and the girls to risk everything to rescue the NeverBeast before time runs out. Directed by Steve Loter (“Kim Possible”) and produced by Michael Wigert (“Secret of the Wings”), “Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast” roars to life in March 3, 2015.
So, we have a bit of heartwarming tenderness, a BEAST and many a needy animal to fit everyone’s bill.
It was the perfect way to spend a rainy sunday morning, with a few snacks and a warm fire to keep everyone cozy, and it gave Dad and me a few spare minutes to have another cup of coffee.
