Balancing working from home (virtually full-time) with part-time daycare and school pick ups can get a little overwhelming. These past few weeks have been especially difficult to navigate, especially with spring break, a sick pre-schooler, and a sick ME!

It was me and the dude this morning. Balancing work, cleaning, and each other. Not doing a very good job of any of it either.

And then, the sun popped out for a bit, and I closed the laptop and we went for a walk.

The warm spring, happy clucking chickens and rabbits that twitched a restrained hello welcomed us.

And by taking this little breather, in between rain showers and emails, we both caught our breath for a moment.

And then we found this little guy.

Now, back in to tackle those dishes, and appreciate that little moment of discovery! And that little moment of finding balance in life.
