With a house full of ducks, and a yard filled with rabbits, chickens, dogs and various projects that require heavy lifting, and buckets of sweat, things tend to get a bit stinky around here.
Hubs for one, but since he is a “man” the sweat on him is just labelled earthy or outdoorsey even.
The sweat on me though . . . not so attractive.
And granted, hard work is hard work, and he should just appreciate the fact that I am out there with him lugging logs, and digging in compost.
But, at the end of the day, as we sit in the sun admiring our work, and he throws his arms around me, and we bask in the glory of our finished project, I don’t really want him to withdraw from the stench.
So, when these babies landed in my mailbox, I thought it might help.
The scent is mild and not too overwhelming, but it still lasts.
It lasts through hauling rabbit poop, and digging in the garden. It lasts through spin class and even snuggling sick toddlers.
And while I mostly sweat from hard work, and not stress, I still imagine they would protect me if a awkward situation did come up.
