This is going to be weird.
For both me and you. . . I get that.
But.
It is something I have been wanting to do. In fact, I made it a GOAL for 2013.
And I wrote it down. In a book. As a GOAL.
THINGS TO ACCOMPLISH:
1. Exercise weekly (whoops)
2. Pay the mortgage with my earnings (yay)
3. VLOG (oh crap)
I didn’t forget about it. I just didn’t do it.
It is an intimidating thing, vlogging.
I mean, normally you see “edited” photos of me. Or I add some cool pic monkey treatment to make those blotches less obvious.
And I usually shower before I take pics of myself.
But here, on video.. well, you get to stare at my face for long enough to notice all the weird stuff about it. Like my crooked chin.
And I have one “more obvious” tooth.
Aside from the obvious “video” issues, what on EARTH would I talk about?
I mean, as much as we are having a conversation.
We aren’t.
It’s just me. Talking at you. (Which is ok when I write, but weird when I actually say it)
And how long should I talk “AT” you for? Experts say I should keep it short? But … well, time goes fast when you are talking at someone.
But it was a GOAL. And the year is almost over. And I really should do it (it is good for me, my blog and my SEO!)
And I didn’t exercise much this year and it is way too cold out to start now.
So, vlogging is “in theory” easier.
Easier than running on ice anyway.
So. I will vlog.
Tomorrow. (Or today if you are reading this tomorrow.. which is now today.)
And I will listen to the experts and apply the research I have done and I will:
-Keep it short (59 seconds to be exact)
– And VLOG on something I love.
And yes. That should get you nervous.
