This may come as a surprise to you, or it may be completely obvious.
I like starting things.
In fact, I love starting things. Like, really, really love it.
This is why I am ALL OVER January. It is like the start of the start, the time before the beginning . . . it is my best place, and my best time!
But the starting thing may be a little too much sometimes.
I have been “dormant” for the last 6 months.
Okay, maybe an exaggeration. But for me, I have been dormant.
Dormant is running one website (this one!) and baking (alot) Dormant is moving house, changing jobs, exploring a new world, travelling to the Caribbean and attending conferences.
See – dormant.
This week, now on day 4 of January, I am no longer dormant.
I am blissfully drowning in projects and have a pile shoulder high of work to do, people to talk to and amazing challenges to overcome.
Seriously, this is bliss.
And the . . . empowering part of all this?
I finally know this about myself. I finally understand that I am good at starting things. It is a strength and a weakness, but for now, I will work it as a positive.
What I am building will be all about starting. I have figured out a way to build my world around my strengths and my skills.
Well, one of the things I am building.
The other thing . . . my hope is that you will never know it was me that built it . . . intriguing eh!
So, imagine me bubbling around, building and creating websites and projects . . . in my happiest of happy places . . . and so close to sharing.
. . . but not quite yet!
and now . . . if I can remember the balance part, everything will be perfect!
