I it was a swag fest when I spent the week in Chicago! And yes, everything everybody says about it is TRUE! You DO actually need to to travel with an empty FULL SIZED suitcase!
Some of the items I “won” or received were amazing, but there was just no way I was going to get it back home. Thankfully there was a swag exchange and donation program to share the love (and the excess) as needed.
Two weeks back now, there are a few items that stand out as my Faves!
First- my super sexy Dell Ultrabook.
Yes. I know. OMG. With a flip screen so that I can use it as an tablet, this baby is light and easy to travel with! Fully loaded with awesome McAfee Consumer safety software, I am loving it!
I must admit, it was a bit of a fight when I got home and the swag was spread. Hubby made a bee-line for this baby, but I fought him off.
Next?
I am not a “gussied up” kinda gal, going more for the natural look, but I can’t say no to a sexy gloss. ULTA cosmetics provided us with some great shades of gloss. Not too sticky, and very moisturizing (especially to this Chapstick addict) I LOVE the #09 Brilliant Color Lip Gloss. And at 8$ a tube, it is an easy add in item! Doesn’t hurt that is is called “Sprinkles” either…
Third. Bring on the ROC. I don’t know how I got through life not knowing about this product, but wowza! Being a sucker for a good exfoliant the Roc Max resurfacing Facial Cleanser had me at first scrub. And the honey on the cake was following up with the Roc MAX wrinkle resurfacing system. I was treating it like gold for a few days, thinking I had to make this baby last until our lottery win happened. BUT, the whole kit and kaboodle is less than $40 to replace (9.99 & 29.99) This one had me at hello.
The kids. Well, I am keeping a lot of their “surprises” for later! But so far the biggest win has been this cute little fella! My little guy “adopted” him at first glance. The cool Zombie Sock monkey with Patch Products! The Planet Sock Monkey line has a fun and creative line of monkeys. They are the perfect size for toting around, and with so many options for girls, it is nice to see some that appealed to my son! (don’t go all hating on me that I said that.. he doesn’t want a monkey with shiny hair and a flouncy dress, we have enough of that already) Oh, and the hours we have spent counting the blood splatter on our zombie guy, and wondering all the amazing places his foot could be! Hours of fun… hours!
I have more great stuff to share with you all… but these are my highlights! Some small, some MASSIVE.. but all of them made an impact!
And JUST WAIT until I share details about the toy box that arrived! Oh, and that little package from American Girl was pretty sweet as well!
