Books are my reward for good behavior.  If I work hard, I get to read. If I eat well, or exercise, a glass of wine and a book are all I need to end the day (did you noticed how I added in the wine . . sneaky eh!)

So, a book and a bottle of wine, are my reward.

And, if it is a good book, that makes me laugh, all the better.

Amber Dusick has become what all of us bloggers lie in bed and wish to happen.  She created an amazing brand, by accident.  Her second blog post had over 500,000 views.

I have yet to have 500,000 views on my website since it launched.

Now she has a book (isn’t that awesome for her)  and it is a good book, and a funny book.

And she is “just” a mom. A mom who landed on a gold mine.

I have a feeling she is probably really pretty too. You know when moms are skinny, pretty AND successful (oh, and funny, the clincher)

She probably cooks too. And the healthy stuff- not just adding a can of mushroom soup to some pasta.

And the worst part, when you read her book, you actually start to like her.  She is honest, and takes those insane moments of parenting and lets you see them from another side and laugh off the stress and awkwardness.

She makes a parenting blog real! No glossing over the poo stories, or sagging breasts. Amber deals the cards straight and has created a tribe of women who respect her for it (as they drink their wine and cry over their sleep deprivation)

And yes, you need to be in this tribe.
