The Easter bunny will be making a visit in just over a month, and this year, I have some specific requests to make on behalf of my waistline!
I completely understand that he is going to “lay” eggs around our garden, and that these eggs will be chocolate filled and supremely delicious (even if part of me DOES wonder exactly where they came from?)
but, if we could please just limit the large quantities of chocolate and sugary treats in the baskets, that would be great! Let’s figure out what the kids need to get through spring (and honestly, find some things that will help ME in the long run!)
So Easter Bunny, check out my list below! And seeing as you probably have internet access down your rabbit hole, you can just click on the links to and pop these items “in your basket” for easy delivery!
Heck, you can even ship them to me and I will take care of handing them out? Whatever makes it easier for you!
Springtime movies:
It WILL rain this spring, and when it does, I want to be prepared with some exciting new flicks to keep the kids entertained! I am loving these new releases from Disney that will totally entrance my three! We all love the Disney classics, and yes, Frozen (if we don’t already have it) is on every kids wish list! Adding them to Easter baskets fills some space, but also makes for a longer lasting gift!
And as we know. . . you are never too old for Disney! All these New Releases are available IN STORES everywhere!
Bubbles!
Bubble bath, yummy smelly shampoo and kid friendly soaps are an awesome addition to an easter basket (it will also be the first things the kids use to clean the chocolate off their fingers!) The Kandoo products aren’t just kid friendly, but also the PERFECT easter colours! Not only that, but the kids can participate in the Kandoo Clean Crew, take the Clean Crew Oath and be one of 1000 kids chosen each month to receive a Super Power Kit! Enter your children via the LINK!
Accessories
I have girls and boys, and while we often share the same goodies between the two, there are a few things that just won’t appeal to my little dude! Accessories are appealing to women (and girls) of all ages, and I love these cute little button hair elastics from Peekaboo beans. Pretty colours and small enough to slip into plastic eggs to hide around the garden! And even better, the founder and creator of Peekaboo Beans is a fabulous Canadian mom, and I am always a sucker for local biz!
Now, I know we all need a little bit of chocolate to make Easter memorable, so check out my post on egg hunting for more great ideas!
