They happen, bad days that is. They happen all the time, usually interspersed between GREAT days.
But they suck. They really do. Bad days take the steam out of everything you do. they make you re-think your choices, and direction. Question yourself about everything. Bad days hit you below the belt, repeatedly.
But there is a purpose.
Bad days help you to recognize the good ones. They help you to realign your purpose. They allow you to see where you can improve, or what you could have done better. They bring you back to reality.
You NEED bad days, and can’t have good ones without them. Unfortunately.
But even with all of this it is easy to slip back and smother yourself in the bad day. To stew, to dwell, to analyze the day and every conversation with microscopic intensity. Bad days make you doubt everything, every minute, every second, every word.
And worst of all, yourself.
So, you reset. You focus on the learning. You USE the bad day to create more of the good. Your remind yourself:
Bad days help you to recognize the good ones. They help you to realign your purpose. They allow you to see where you can improve, or what you could have done better. They bring you back to reality.
and you get back to work.
