New toys are always welcome at our home, and while they may find themselves mixing with strange company, sometimes that is when the magic starts to happen.
We have had dump trucks helping out in the garden (makes sense really) and horses join us in the bathtub.
There are no rules about who plays with who, or where. . . or when (this is made surprisingly real when you wake up with a toy screwdriver under your hip and a 4 year old snuggled against you in the middle of the night)
Toys are adopted into our home fully and entirely.
So when these little gals (and guy) arrived at our door, they were scooped up and introduced to the family right away.
With almost 10 years of parenting in my past we have run the range of Little People products.
We still have the farmyard and garage (often used by pet shop critters) and I have fond memories of the airport I used to play with when I was young.
With Fisher Price still adding to the Little People Family with 5 new characters this fall, it is nice to see products I know and love still being appreciated today. With every child being unique, there is now a Little People’s character to suit everyone.
My little guy “allowed” the Little Girls to hang with the team in the playroom, but he loved the new Little Guy (we call him Gill) named Eddie. He was immediately given the job of Rescue chief and took possession of his very own rescue boat. (which is perfect as Eddie is pretty sporty and has tonnes of energy!)
It added some life to our play this morning (I got a littler person and a rescue boat as well) and refreshed our creativity. Added to the same old toys, with some new ideas and characters.
Gill (eddie) even helped let the chickens out this morning (although I did have to keep him safe in my pocket!)
This month check out the contest Treehouse is hosting. The Little People, Big Discoveries contest lets contestants play a hide and seek game to find new characters on playsets, watch the videos and be entered to win 1 of 5 $265 Little People Prize packs. It is a fun, child friendly game to play with the kids that could result in some GREAT prizes!
But be careful! The music is SUPER catchy in the new videos they have up!
