I remember our first introduction to Peppa Pig very clearly. It was 2009 and we were in England visiting my husband’s family. Our youngest (now our “middle”) was just about to turn 3 and Peppa became her new favourite friend. We celebrated with a Peppa cake and even brought home a (GIANT) Peppa who “Splish, splosh, splashed” in our suitcase the whole journey.
Peppa Pig is the journey of a lovely little piglet and she and her brother experience all the goings on of every day life. With their posh british accents and key learnings on “good behaviour” these little piglets show kids how to have fun and enjoy life. The episodes are short and sweet, and keep the kids engagement throughout. The “annoyance” factor of so many children’s shows isn’t there (or the british accents make it more acceptable) and she is a delight to watch as she experiences life.
Peppa was always a popular British show, and has been gracing screens on Treehouse for years, but now she has the PTPA seal of approval to support her success! She has a fun interactive website filled with games and activities as well as her selection of videos.
Whether you are new to Peppa Pig, or she is an old favourite, she is sure to delight. Check out this PTPA award winner today with your kids, and enjoy some lovely mucky fun!
