I find it is usually the moon or stars that are to blame for the sort of feelings I am having these days, or perhaps I am just having an existential crisis of sorts?
Whatever the reason, I am feeling adrift. Floating, bobbing, tilting this way and then that, at sea without a direction. Sails down, rudder loose.
It isn’t because I don’t know what I love to do, and it isn’t because I am not happy in my place in life.
Perhaps it is just because we all need to be injected with inspiration every now and then, to be able to stand back and see the value of what we do, and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
So, this week, I am basking in the sunshine, sipping cocktails and surrounding myself with amazing women. Strong, confident, and intelligent women.
I will Soak up their wisdom, listen with intent and supporting and encourage ideas that intrigue me.
I will learn, and learn and learn. I will laugh and I will rest my soul.
Because even though you often get amazing opportunities from conferences, the biggest take away is always how it relights the passion for what you do, and allows the hundreds of solo entrepreneurs to feel like they are part of something bigger than just them, plonking away at the laptop keys in their living room.
