We live on the west, west coast of BC. Where our temps rarely fall below zero, and when they do it is considered “too cold” to go out.
Being born and raised here I couldn’t imagine a winter where I couldn’t run outside in January, or welcome spring in February. When the thought of a white Christmas would be a miracle.
So last night, when it started to SNOW, it was pretty much cause for celebration.
And I know all you east coasters (and that is anything west of Vancouver) will be laughing your pants off, but to us, this is pretty exciting.
I have even included a pic of our snowman (with a size reference for you)
Notice he even has a carrot for a nose, although we could only fit one stone on his face for an eye.
So… a cyclops snowman.
And the kids were pretty excited about “all the snow” Check out this LIVE ACTION VIDEO of our west coast snowstorm last night…
And yes. We know that compared to the rest of Canada our snow is crazy ridiculous. . . but we still love it.
Now, off to pick up the kids in my lightweight winter jacket! Brrr. that -1 gets to you!
